A lock connected to the internet that could be operated remotely and hence removing the need for keys to open doors.

The lock was powered by a set of external batteries, carrying a sim card for internet connection and a servo motor to lock/unlock the door. The communication was handled by Flash API with a database of users. On the user side each user could own multiple locks and have “friends” who could be granted temporary access.
